  • How long will it take?

    The procedure usually takes 30 minutes to an hour, and is done in clinic under local anesthesia.  You are able to go home the same day.

  • What is the recovery?

    Sutures are usually dissolvable  but if you have some that need to be removed they are usually removed 5-7 days after your procedure.  You may return to work immediately after the procedure as long as pain medication is not needed.  You should wait 12 weeks before getting your ears pierced again.
