BOTOX ® Cosmetic

Conveniently located to serve Fort Worth

BOTOX ® CosmeticBOTOX ® Cosmetic in Fort Worth is a nonsurgical treatment that can temporarily reduce moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. Very low doses of BOTOX ® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections into the muscles. This relaxes the muscle and decreases the appearance of wrinkles in the injected areas. If you don’t continue with your BOTOX ® treatments your frown lines will return. This type of procedure can be done at our Fort Worth office location which is conveniently located to Southlake, Keller, Argyle and Mansfield.

What Is BOTOX ® Cosmetic?

BOTOX ® is used to reduce the appearance of forehead furrows, crow’s feet, lip lines, frown lines, and bunny lines. It can help diminish neck bands, change the appearance of a square jawline, raise the corners of the mouth, improve a gummy smile, and smooth the appearance of chin dimpling.

When BOTOX ® Cosmetic is injected, it stops the nerve signals from reaching certain muscles, preventing the muscles from contracting. As the muscles relax, the wrinkles are smoothed out.

Good Candidates for BOTOX ® Cosmetic

The best candidates for BOTOX ® are people who want to get rid of their fine facial wrinkles to achieve a more youthful and relaxed appearance. In addition, ideal candidates are at least 18 years of age, in good health, and not expecting or nursing. Patients should have realistic expectations regarding the results of BOTOX ®.

People who are not good candidates for BOTOX ® are those who are in poor health, have very thick skin, or have problems with muscle weaknesses in potential target injection sites. The treatment is not recommended for people who have exhibited allergic reactions at the injection areas.

Your BOTOX ® Cosmetic Consultation

During a consultation, you will be asked to discuss your medical history to check your suitability for BOTOX ®. You can also ask questions about the procedure and where your injection sites will be.
